Lord-
I come to you again tonight asking for your guidance and wisdom. If my past experiences have shown me anything, it is that you are indeed present in my life, guiding my footsteps and helping me to overcome any obstacle life sets before me. You have shown yourself to be great and mighty, and I know I am not. I seek out to be your humble servant-seeking our your will for my life and doing my best, through the strength you alone provide, to follow that will.
Lord, I pray for patience and peace at this time in my life. You have revealed and confirmed much to me and I thank you for that. I am filled with hope and excitement for the future, and thank you for everything. I thank you for the peace that will come, the peace that will pass all understanding. You have provided for me when I thought all hope was lost, and I know now that you will provide again.
Thank you for everything you have done in my life and in the lives of those around me. I want to see them through your eyes, see the love you have for each and everyone of them. Reveal to me ways to impact the lives of those around me in a way that is pleasing in your eyes and truly turns the glory entirely back to you.
I thank you for the opportunity of a new day tomorrow and everything that it will hold. I pray for those of us who will be working or going to school or still trying to figure things out. Be with all of us, guide us and comfort us. Also, if any of us happen to have a volleyball game, I pray for clear thinking, solid teamwork, and calm nerves.
For you are truly for us, no one can stop us. You are with us, nothing can stand against.
